The Project Overview
Bonjour Digital delivered comprehensive event photography and brand media coverage for the inaugural launch of The Lola Market, hosted at the historic Pipe Shop in the Shipyards District of North Vancouver. Organized by The Lola Collective and meticulously styled by Poshty, this curated lifestyle, arts, and wellness experience brings together over 50 prominent women-led corporate brands, local artisans, and community leaders. Our production mandate was to capture the vibrant, high-energy ecosystem of the festival—balancing polished product storytelling with interactive lifestyle documentation.

The Venue & Architectural Technical Execution
Photographing inside the Pipe Shop presents an incredible, historic visual backdrop defined by towering high ceilings, massive exposed wood pillars, and mid-20th-century industrial charm. However, the venue’s expansive layout and heavy mix of natural light pouring from large glass windows combined with warm indoor string fixtures requires high dynamic range agility.

Utilizing advanced mirrorless configurations and fast prime lenses, our media team cleanly isolated individual vendor activations and preserved the warm, celebratory atmosphere without flattening the space with intrusive flash arrays. We focused on capturing the event’s multi-layered programming, including:
