The Brief
Bonjour Digital was on-site as a vendor and wanted to deliver a comprehensive event photography and cultural gala media coverage for the Tri-Cities Chinese Spring Festival. As a major annual cultural celebration drawing hundreds of community members, local dignitaries, and performers across Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody, the event required high-end documentation. Our primary objective was to capture the vibrant energy of live stage performances, document community engagement, and provide polished, high-resolution media assets for public relations, heritage archives, and future event marketing.
The Venue & Technical Execution
Photographing a large-scale festival gala presents dynamic technical challenges, particularly managing rapid transitions between fast-moving traditional stage performances and ambient floor activities. Our media team utilized high-speed, low-light lens configurations to cleanly freeze action on stage—such as traditional lion dances and live musical showcases—despite complex, shifting theater spotlights.
